OUR NEXT WORKSHOP

Plan to join us on Friday evening, May 12, for the pre-workshop event “Somewhere in My Imagination”. This free bonus session is a fun evening recapping the theme of our November Workshop's subject: World Building. Whether you are a returning student or new to Sharp Pens Workshops, you won’t want to miss this fun-filled night of adventure, dessert and review.

On Saturday, we'll jump right into "Establishing Great Character", our newest Teen Writers Workshop. Together, we will discover how to effectively write fiction for Christ. Through lessons, games, contests and more, we will help you tackle the hard task of writing a novel by shedding light on one of the foundational elements good stories are built upon: character.

What makes a compelling character? How do you create a hero your reader will love? Or a villain they will fear? Is there a purpose behind these ‘fictional people’ that goes beyond your simple (or not so simple) story?

Come find out at Sharp Pens’ writing workshop, Establishing Great Character!
