• WE BELIEVE… in the triune Godhead—one God, three Persons—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28: 19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit."

 

• WE BELIEVE… the Bible is God's perfect word, the ultimate authority, made up of 66 books, that "All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness-" 2 Timothy 3:16. 

 

• WE BELIEVE… the accounts of Creation, the fall of man and the Flood are literal as told in the book of Genesis. (2 Timothy 3:16)

 

• WE BELIEVE… that Jesus Christ, God's only son, was born of a virgin, being fully God and fully man. "That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures," 1 Corinthians 15: 3b-4. That He ascended into heaven and that one day He will return and judge the world.  "This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven," Act 1:11.

 

• WE BELIEVE… in the Holy Spirit. "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you," John 14:26.

 

• WE BELIEVE… in the resurrection of the dead.  "These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life," Matthew 25:46.

 

• WE BELIEVE... all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). That they can have restored fellowship with God through 'salvation'. To be saved we must Repent (turn away from our sins) and Believe (trust in Jesus Christ and commit to following Him).  Mark 1:15, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

 

• WE BELIEVE... salvation is by grace alone.  "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast," Ephesian 2:8.

 

• WE BELIEVE… Christians are called to a life of holiness and service, that even though they stumble, God calls them to walk in the Spirit and avoid sin. "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect," Romans 12:1-2. "For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them," Ephesians 2:10.

 

• WE BELIEVE… 'The Church' is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His Son, Jesus Christ. The church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin.

 

• WE BELIEVE... that marriage is the foundation of family life, and that God’s design for marriage is a relationship where both a naturally born man and a naturally born woman are committed to loving and caring for one another for a lifetime. "And He said, 'Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE TEHM MALE AND FEMALE, and said, "FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH"? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'" -Matthew 19:4-6

 

• WE BELIEVE… sex is given by God as an expression of love to be shared and enjoyed exclusively between a husband and wife. “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God,” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

 

• WE BELIEVE… human life is created by God in His image. It is of inestimable worth and significance in all its dimensions, including the preborn, the aged, the mentally disabled, those deemed unattractive, the physically challenged, and every other condition in which humanness is expressed from the single cell stage of development to natural death. Christians are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. "For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. For you formed my inward parts; You wove me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…" Psalm 139:13-14a.
